Summary

Assembly Bill 189 amended NRS 116.347 to require that, in a county whose population is 700,000 or more, construction work in a common-interest community under declarant control begin no earlier than the hour permitted by the applicable local ordinance during the period from April 1 through September 30. Before the amendment, the statute's construction-hours rule did not defer to local ordinance for that summer window. Effective May 30, 2023, upon approval.
