Horizontal Property — Recording of Declaration

Establishes the procedure for submitting property to the condominium regime by recording a declaration with the county recorder. Iowa's condominium statute (Chapter 499B) is a bare-bones horizontal property act with 21 sections. Iowa does not have a separate planned community or HOA act; non-condo HOAs are governed by CC&Rs and the Iowa Nonprofit Corporation Act (Chapter 504).
